A shout out to teachers | The Ohio Neck & Back Pain Relief Centers | Chiropractor, Marion, Ohio 740-386-6580

What teacher changed your life? What was it that they said? Most of us can think of a teacher that really believed in us.  A teacher that spoke words of encouragement into us that forever changed how we view ourselves.

I remember that teacher for me was a math teacher by the name of Mr Peiffer at Worthington Christian Schools…very similar to Heritage Christian School.  He would complain to me that I should be getting better grades.  He told me that I was not living up to my potential. Why did he say this? I had an issue with math class. That issue was that math was very easy for me. I didn’t want to do homework, because I could get A’s on the test’s without doing the homework. I don’t tell you this to impress you, but to impress upon you the importance of the teachers who influence us.

I never really knew that math came easy to me until he expressed how good I was at it. He told my parents that I was one of the best math students he ever had…and that I should be doing much better in my classes.  This forever stuck with me. I started to think of myself as someone who was smart…I started to think, wow!…maybe I am good at something. I really can become a doctor if I put my mind to it…and do my homework! 🙂

Mr Peiffer made me a more confident person and changed how I viewed myself. I will be forever grateful for his willingness to call me out and challenge me.  There are several other teachers that I won’t bore you with that also changed my life.

October 5th was World Teacher Day and I just want to say thank you to all of my previous teachers…and to all of the teachers out there today that work harder than we know…and are completely under-appreciated.

They mold the minds of our youth, which is the future of this country. They have the ability and responsibility to change the world through the words that they speak into these children.  It could be one sentence that a teacher told you in the past that you never forgot and has changed your life.

Take the time to thank your teachers, or the teachers of your children and/or grandchildren.  They have the power to change the world and we need to support them in this undertaking.

As I always say, I’ve got your back…and out teachers have the future of our country in their hands. Let’s support them as much as we can.

Thank you to all of the great teachers out there!!
