Let’s discuss the advantages and possible disadvantages of microcurrent therapy.

We will also explain the benefits and side effects of this technology.

In conclusion, we will address the pros and cons of microcurrent therapy for pain management.

How does microcurrent therapy work?

Microcurrent therapy is an elegant and simple approach to treating pain. Here is a brief introduction to the treatment from Scientific American:

In November 2009, researchers at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) published research on the effectiveness of microcurrent therapy in a small group of chronic pain patients. When compared with a placebo, microcurrent therapies produced significant improvements in pain intensity, sleep quality, and overall patient satisfaction. Moreover, these benefits were maintained for 7-12 months following the initial treatment with microcurrents.

The UCSF researchers trained 68 patients on how to use microcurrents and were able to achieve similar success rates to traditional pain therapies. The study was funded by the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK).

  Does microcurrent work?

The last few years have seen a surge in research into microcurrent therapy (MCT), with new studies showing that MCT is effective at reducing pain and improving function in patients suffering from chronic pain.

So what is MCT? It’s a form of acupuncture where a small amount of electricity is passed through electrodes to the skin. Although it sounds simple — just an electric current passing through electrodes — it has been proven to be effective in treating many forms of chronic pain including neuropathic pain, neurogenic pain, spinal cord injury, osteoarthritis, and arthritis. There are four main types of MCT:

Electromyography (EMG) – involves exposing the patient to high-frequency electrical stimulation to stimulate specific muscles using electrodes implanted into muscle groups such as calves, ulnae, and axial bones (see figure below). This type of MCT can be used for acute relief of acute or chronic muscle pain and sciatica.

Electroacupuncture – Involves applying low-frequency electrical stimulation over acupuncture points on the skin using electrode needles inserted into specific muscle groups (see figure below). This type of MCT is used for acute relief of acute or chronic muscle pain and sciatica.

Acupressure – Involves applying low-frequency electrical stimulation over acupuncture points on the skin using electrode needles inserted into specific muscle groups (see figure below). This type of MCT is used for acute relief of acute or chronic muscular pain and sciatica but also for spinal cord injuries or for conditions involving bone growth effects such as osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.

The main advantage over other forms of treatment described above is that it does not require sedation, which can be problematic in some settings because it can mask symptoms caused by other underlying conditions such as depression, anxiety, etc. The main disadvantage is better compliance: patients must be willing to apply their own body heat to get results because they must turn off their brain — which makes MCT vs tens seem less appealing than other forms like TENS therapy alone.

Side effects of microcurrent therapy

There are a lot of microcurrent devices on the market and a lot of people claim their device is going to help you.

Pain is not specific to some important sites.

It may be that microcurrent therapy can do nothing for your pain at all (and then again, it may be that microcurrent therapy can improve your pain). This isn’t the only possible outcome of the treatment; there are many other potential outcomes as well, including the possibility that your pain will get better or worse before it gets better.

Microcurrent therapy does not work for all types of pain.

There are some types of pain that might be helped by microcurrent therapy (or vice versa). But just because something works for one type of pain doesn’t mean it works for all types of pain or vice versa (there are some special cases where this is true, but these cases aren’t common). The same goes for microcurrent therapy—there are certain situations where it might work better than other medical therapies. There are also some situations where this isn’t true at all. There is no way to determine exactly what will help someone with any type of pain without trying them out first! So if you are having pain it makes sense to try a natural option instead of taking pills that could lead to addiction. Right?

  Microcurrent vs TENS

Microcurrent therapy (also sometimes referred to as electro-acupuncture or electro-therapeutic acupuncture) uses focused electrical current to stimulate or suppress pain receptors in the skin and other tissues.

Tens, on the other hand, use a pulsing current to numb or activate muscles.

You may know that TENS therapy is used for various neurological conditions, including multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease. Microcurrent therapy and TENS therapy are both used to help with chronic pain.

Microcurrent therapy has been used for decades to help treat various types of pain, including back pain, arthritis pain, and neuralgias such as sciatica. The FDA has approved microcurrent for use in chronic low back pain (CLBP).

It is thought that microcurrent could be an effective treatment option for patients with CLBP who do not respond well to conventional treatments like narcotics, injections, or surgery.

  Conclusion

Summary:

We have had really positive results with a number of our patients. Just the value of having an option other than pills that could become addictive is enough reason to try microcurrent therapy for whatever pain symptoms you are having. We will discuss your pain and be sure to help you make the best decision for you and your pain.

Microcurrent therapy uses tiny electrodes placed on the skin to deliver electrical impulses to the nerve endings. These impulses are supposed to ease inflammation and reduce pain. The current is delivered in pulses ranging from no more than 0.1 to 1 volt per second (as compared to tens or hundreds of volts). The frequency can vary within the range of tens-to-millivolts (0.1-1) depending on what aspect of pain you are treating.

Microcurrent therapy has been around for more than 40 years now, but its use has increased dramatically in recent years due in part to new studies proving that it offers relief for people suffering from severe chronic pain.

Not only is microcurrent therapy an effective pain management method, but it also has lots of other medical benefits that can help improve people’s health and quality of life.

We are excited about the results our patients have been getting with this amazing therapy. Give us a call and we can share more with you and help you to get an appointment so that we can determine if this therapy or a combination of this therapy with some of our other highly effective chiropractic options.

So what exactly is a “change in the way” we are standing?

Mathematically speaking, it would appear that if we were standing more upright, to begin with, our bodies would be healthier than if we were standing more “inwardly.”

It makes sense that women are more prone to lower back pain as they require an upright posture for childbearing and nursing. So for women, not only does it provide stability for their bodies but also helps them support their babies.

When we stand with less weight on our hips and knee joints, we will have less stress on these joints. It also gives us more stability because our weight is distributed over all four limbs instead of resting on just one leg or two legs. It provides a better balance between upper body and lower body strength. This results in increased speed of movement which helps prevent injury as well as better coordination of muscles and joints (i.e., better balance).

When it comes to lower back pain in women, there are several factors that contribute to this condition. One can be attributed to a limited range of motion (ROM) due to aging or injury which results in reduced flexion (flexing) of the spine; this may be a result of mild sciatica or degenerative changes associated with longstanding low-back pain (LBP).

Another factor is poor muscle tone resulting from aging or injury; this may lead to improper alignment which reduces motion at different levels of the spine such as:

Promotes proper movement from lumbar region causing increased flexion at the L5-S1 vertebrae level;

Promotes proper movement from sacrum region causing increased extension at L4-L5 vertebrae levels;

Promotes proper movement from lumbar region causing increased flexion at R4-R3 vertebrae levels;

Improves spinal erector muscle tone resulting in relaxation at level R2 vertebrae levels;

What can cause lower back pain in a woman?

Imagine how many times you’ve heard the phrase “I have pain in my back.” The reason why women have it in their backs is that they have done some or all of these things:

Sitting at a computer for too long

Standing for too long

Not exercising enough

Not sleeping enough

Working out too much

How to treat lower back pain in women

Lower back pain is one of the most common causes of acute pain for women with chronic low back pain.

Women are more likely to suffer from chronic low back pain than men, with 70% of women developing chronic low back pain during their lifetime. Lower back pain is reported as the leading cause of disability in the United States. In fact, the American Medical Association (AMA) estimated that 20 million Americans suffer from some form of lower back pain each year.

This can be a very common cause for concern for women, especially if you have been experiencing this discomfort for a long period of time. In fact, according to a study published in the Journal of CNS Disorders in 2012, two out of three people say they routinely experience lower back discomfort when they stand up from sitting or lying down at work or home.

As you may know by now, being able to get around without discomfort is an important part of any woman’s life (whether you are a mother or not). If you’re having trouble getting around without feeling like your lower back hurts, then it’s important to talk with a doctor about how you can prevent this type of injury from happening again and again.

It is an unfortunate situation that too often the remedy for pain is to cover it up with a pill. And all too often an M.D. is forced to have very limited time with you to determine what is the cause of your pain. So the path that too many will take is along with the old adage of ‘take two pills and call me in the morning’ which means to give you a prescription that will cover the pain and lead to a ton of negative side effects. That is why you may want to consider going to a qualified chiropractor that can help you with prenatal chiropractic or whatever back pains you may be experiencing. If you need to see an M.D. then a chiropractor can help you make that decision, but don’t fall for the ‘pill cover-up’ method. To be clear, there are many situations that an M.D. is the best option for you and your back pain. Likewise, there are many situations when the Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.)

Should You See A Doctor For Low Back Pain?

Lower back pain is the most common cause of back pain in women according to a study by the Department of Palliative Care of the University Hospitals, Aachen and a suburb of Cologne.

The most common cause of lower back pain for women is a herniated disc. Other causes include spinal stenosis, sciatica, sciatic nerve entrapment syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, and radiculopathy. Each of these does not necessarily mean you will need to have surgery. In fact, it is something to really give serious consideration before any type of back surgery. The back is such an amazing part of our body, but surgery is not kind to the back. So much so that there is actually a condition called ‘failed back surgery syndrome’ because there has been such an enormous amount of failed surgeries. I’m not aware of any other surgery that has a syndrome named for the number of times it has failed. You really may want to read those last few sentences again and then you just may want to do a Google search and search for ‘chiropractor near me.

IMPORTANT

There is a very specific time when you may need to go straight to the emergency room and not wait to see a chiropractor. If you are having symptoms include lower back pain, sensory loss (pain at the site of insertion), numbness or burning sensation over an area on one side above the pelvic floor muscle, loss of bowel control or bladder control, and ascending/descending bowel incontinence. Go to the emergency room, better yet have someone drive you and explain your situation. You may require surgery and help that only a qualified surgeon may provide.

In addition to working on preventing lower back pain, there are plenty of other ways to relieve your lower back problems other than seeing a doctor. For example, lowering your seating position and maintaining a healthy sleeping posture can help reduce your likelihood of lower back injury – not only during the day but also at night as well!

Don’t forget about making sure that you have an adequate range of motion within your body – especially in regards to your hips and knees – because these joints are often injured more easily than other areas that are closer together such as shoulders and hips.

However, if all else fails go to a chiropractor and ask them about exercises that will help make sure these joints function properly:

How to prevent lower back pain in women

A woman’s lower back is a delicate part of the body. It is one of the most painful parts of her body. But there are many ways for women to avoid having lower back pain caused by low back pain. The best option is regular visits to a qualified chiropractor. It is important that you have regular visits because it will allow for progress versus ‘one step forward, two steps back.

Let’s be honest, most women never stop working. They work full-time at home and full-time at work. It’s no wonder they struggle with back pains. But regular visits to a chiropractor will help in a number of ways. In addition, it is important to communicate with your chiropractor your exact symptoms so that the adjustments will target your specific needs. And be sure to ask about other areas of your body that may benefit from adjustments including, but not limited to your shoulders, neck, wrists, ankles, and more.

With this primary concept as a foundation, the new facility and nurse practitioner show neck and back pain sufferers how to solve their problem and live a pain free life again. They provide an explanation of every technique available, from neurostimulation to physical therapy. The facility also explains how to select the best option that will create maximum results in eliminating your pain.

Introducing (drumroll please…):

Microcurrent Therapy is an exceptional way to help heal the body, namely soft tissues. It is also an effective way to relieve pain within the body. The therapy utilizes very small amounts of current to produce signals that replicate those occurring in the body naturally. This current is very small and is almost unnoticeable to the patient.

This is a great therapy if there is a spasm in a back or neck muscle. It works well in relaxing the muscle and allowing it to return to its normal state rather quickly. Short therapy sessions are excellent at facilitating healing from acute and chronic pain.

One of the best features of this treatment is that you can rent or buy a unit to take home and heal when you are not in our office!

PATIENTS COMMONLY REPORT RESULTS FOR THESE CONDITIONS:

CARPAL TUNNEL

SCIATICA

FROZEN SHOULDER

ACUTE LUMBAR DISC

HEADACHES

NEUROPATHY

TENNIS ELBOW

WHIPLASH

SCAR TISSUE

ARTHRITIS

KNEE PAIN

MUCH MUCH MUCH MORE

Call our office if you would like to know more about Micro-Current and if it can help you: (740) 386-6580

A little more detail on how Micro-Current works if you are so inclined to read it:

During its application on the skin, the Avazzia affects the C-Fibers of the nervous system (these are the nerves that carry pain messages to the brain that say “I hurt!”).

Stimulation opens the channels of these C-Fibers allowing the release of neuropeptides and endorphins (these feel really good!).

Neuropeptide release continues both during and after treatment.

The body’s own internal pharmacy is unlocked by the cascading effect of these ‘nerve chemicals’.

The process affects all pathological processes and helps you maintain a relaxed state during recovery

Healing is Always Electronic!

Healing requires restoration of the power supply to the cells.

One must supply electrons to the membrane (capacitor).

One must supply light (or glucose to create light) and nutrients to create ATP (“cellular gasoline”).

Once they have enough energy, cells know what to do—it’s programmed into them = the body knows how to heal itself.

The aim of treatment is to slow the progress of the disease, prevent amputations and facilitate greater freedom of movement and thus a better quality of life.

Back pain is one of the biggest problems in the United States. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, anywhere from 60-80% of American adults suffer from pain in their lumbar spine. It is also one of the leading causes of missed work every year. There are TONS of ways to treat this issue, but we are here to tell you how to avoid it all together! Check out the top 36 ways to keep back pain away:

36. As this weight lifter can probably tell you, avoiding lifting heavy objects is the best course of action. Putting too much strain on your back can really do more harm than good.

35. When working with heavy objects use the squat lift. Get your body as close to the object as possible, plant your feet shoulder width apart, squat down, wrap your arms around it, and stand up, using the power of your legs.

34. When you are lifting something heavy and can’t use the squat lift, use the “crane lift”. Stand with your knees shoulder width apart, as close to the object as you can get. Bend at the hips, sticking your buttocks out behind you. Grab the item and lift, pulling it as close to your body as you can as you lift up. Put it down the same way.

33. For small objects, like a dropped coin, use the “golfer’s lift”. Instead, put all your weight on one leg, and using the opposite hand, brace yourself with one hand on a desk, chair, or other sturdy object. Then bend straight from the hip, letting the non-weight-bearing leg come off the ground a little behind you as you pick up the object.

32. You’re not a superhero. I know we all like to think we are, but Know your limits. There are some things you just can’t lift.

31. No matter what occasion, make sure you are wearing the right shoes. You may need a specific type of shoe to support your spine whether you are working out or in the office.

30. Get up and walk around a bit! If you sit at a desk all day set a timer. You should take a moment to stretch and walk around a bit ever 45-50 minutes.

29. When you sit down, sit with your spine in a neutral position and your knees at a 90 degree angle. Make sure your middle and lower back are supported. Don’t waste your money on an expensive ergonomic chair. Just make sure you’re sitting properly.

28. Your computer should be at eye level. If it is too low you will naturally slump forward in your chair, and it’s no better if it’s too high. Then you will be straining your neck as you raise your line of sight.

27. Using a footrest to support the balls of your feet can take some of the load off of your spine.

26. Is it party time? Company parties can be great… or they can be awkward. Either way, don’t stand or sit too long in the same place. Move around! Mingle a bit. Maybe you’ll be the life of the party! Just avoid that guy.

25. Stand and sit up straight. As hard as it is, slumping does more harm than good. Plus, when you stand and sit straight you strengthen the muscles in your spine.

24. This is easier said than done, but try to avoid stress. When you feel stress you tend to tense your muscles. This constant tension can cause back, shoulder, and neck pain.

23. While we’d all love to see this in our back pocket, it’s important to keep only the necessities in your wallet. Sitting on an overstuffed wallet can increase discomfort and pain. And if you are going to be sitting for a long period of time? Try taking your wallet out of your pocket all together.

22. Be selective in hand bags and briefcases. Having a wide adjustable strap that can reach over your head is ideal. By wearing the strap cross-body and distributing the weight of your bag more evenly, you can avoid pain in your shoulders and back.

21. If your clothing is too tight and interferes with bending, sitting, or walking then it can aggravate your back pain. Try something a little looser, or more flowing.

20. Avoid high heels. As pretty as they are, they can shift your center of gravity and strain your lower back. Try to keep it under an inch. If you have to go higher, bring another pair of flats to slip into if you become uncomfortable.

19. Use the tools you have at your disposal. Things like knee pads when working close to the ground, extenders for paint rollers and dusters help keep you from lifting your arms awkwardly overhead, step ladders to reach high places.

18. Buying a new car? Bigger is usually better. They allow you to make more adjustments to your seating.

17. Set your seat properly. Don’t set it so far back that you have to lean forward to reach the steering wheel.

16. Find out where you need support before buying a pillow for your car. Some people need support higher between their shoulder blades and others need more support in their lumbar spine… Or maybe just some good old-fashioned beads are more your speed.

15. ROADTRIP! Nothing says freedom like the open road, but it can also mean some serious discomfort in your back. Make sure you are stopping every 2-3 hours to stretch and walk around a bit. It will make a world of difference!

14. Needing to stand for a long period of time? Switch the side of your body that is holding your weight. Rest one foot and then the other. This will keep the tension from building up on one side.

13. Are you carrying around some extra weight? Being over-weight can put extra strain on your back. That strain causes pain, and we all know that’s no good.

12. Do back strengthening stretches and exercises at least 2 or 3 times a week.

11. Along with strengthening your back, strengthen the rest of your core. This will help provide a more stable support system for your spine.

10. Physical activity on a regular basis can also be important. It has been shown to help ease inflammation and muscle tension.

9. Are you a smoker? Smoking restricts the flow of blood to the spinal discs which can cause inflammation and back pain. Give quitting another try!

8. Stay healthy and eat a balanced diet. When your body and mind are healthy they can work harder for you.

7. Do you sleep on your stomach? Did you know that this is the worst sleep position for easing back pain? Give sleeping on your back a try, or better yet, sleep on your side with your knees inclined toward your chest.

6. If you are going to sleep on your back, try placing a pillow under your feet or knees. This helps to ease the pressure in the lower back. By doing this you can reduce the amount of pain you experience throughout the night.

5. Are you an early bird? A morning person? Well, instead of hopping right out of bed when you get up take a minute. Stretch your muscles and make sure they are ready to handle what you’re going to throw at them. This will help any undue strain or tension when you start the day.

4. You should also have the right mattress. Every body is different, so you may need a firm mattress, or a softer one. It’s important to find out what works for you.

3. Keep your mattress in good shape. It won’t do you any good to have the right kind of mattress if it is worn out and broken. Check with the mattress manufacturer and see how often they recommend you replace it.

2. To avoid a more serious, pain-causing disease like osteoporosis, take in more Calcium and Vitamin D. This disease can be a major factor later in life, especially in women so do what you can to prevent it now.

You’ve been waiting and the time has come for you to find out what the number 1 tip for avoiding back pain all together. So here it is:

1. Get regular chiropractic adjustments. Your spine houses your spinal cord, the information super-highway of your nervous system. If you have vertebrae that are misaligned then it can irritate the nerves that feed the rest of your body. A Chiropractor is uniquely trained to correct the misalignments in your spine and keep you feeling healthier.

There are even more benefits of regular chiropractic care than avoiding back pain. Take a look at some of our other informational posts to find out what else it can help with.

Sciatica pain is no one’s friend. I’m betting you’ve tried a lot of different ways to relieve your sciatica pain, and if you are looking at this they haven’t worked yet. Well below you will find a FREE guide to stretches that can be done in 60 seconds, and help correct some of the issues that could be causing your sciatica pain.

Sitting on the floor with your back straight and your legs directly in front of you, pull your right knee toward your chest. It’s important to keep the heel of your left foot on the floor to get the best stretch. Hold this stretch for 10 seconds.

While still in the sitting position, switch legs and pull your left knee toward your chest. Be sure that the heel of your right foot stays on the floor for the best results. Hold the stretch for 10 seconds.

Laying with your back flat on the floor, bend your knees and keep your knees and ankles. Place your arms flat on the floor next to your body with palms down, this will help stabilize your core during this exercise. Lift and lower your legs as a unit without allowing your feet to touch the floor. Repeat this motion 5 times.

Next, remain flat on your back on the floor. Keeping your left heel on the floor bring your right knee to your chest. Hold this stretch for 10 seconds.

This time, keep the heel of your right foot on the floor as you pull your left leg toward your chest. By laying flat on your back rather than sitting up as we did in the first exercise we will stretch a different set of muscles.

Lastly, you want to sit up again with both legs stretched out in front of you. With your arms straight out, lean forward toward your toes. Be sure not to bend your knees to get the best stretch possible. Hold this for 10 seconds.

There! Hopefully this has been helpful in relieving some of the tension that can cause your sciatica pain. These stretches can be repeated multiple times so don’t be afraid to try them more than once! Keep checking back for more useful information about sciatica pain, and as always, feel free to contact us with any questions at xxxx.

“From Limping To Running”- Thad Winston’ s Story:

“I needed back pain relief so I limped into the Ohio Neck & Back Pain Relief Centers and an hour later I could literally run! Dr. Scot Gray and his team are AMAZING! I honestly don’t know exactly how I twisted up my back, but the muscle spasms and the radiating pain shooting up my back and down my leg made me think that I had done something really serious to my back like a slipped disc or sciatica issues. Dr. Gray assured me they would do whatever they could to help me back on my feet and after he did an evaluation he did some adjustments on me and then attached me to a spinal decompression machine (I had never had that kind of treatment before and I was a little nervous, but Dr. Gray explained the entire process and the medical science behind how the machine would probably help me so I trusted him and man am I glad I did) and the machine went to work and I LITERALLY went to sleep. It was so comforting and and incredibly effective that once I was done I stood up and I could move without back pain and no more muscle spasms. Back pain relief is so incredible that when you’re in that kind of pain it impacts you emotionally to be in pain and when it’s gone it’s like the sun comes out and it’s a great day. Thanks so much Dr. Gray and team. You guys really truly did impact my life!”

“No Surgery For Me!”- Tim Sutton’s Story:

“March 14,2006, the day I thought surgery was going to be my only option, Thank God, I tried Spinal Decompression. This practice is excellent, the doctor and staff have always been friendly, courteous, and very professional. It makes me feel like I’m around family instead of being at a doctors office. The day my back was trying to go out, Dr. Scot made it possible for me to walk out on my own 2 feet, pain free with no meds or shots. That was the 1st for me. Being able to work pain free, put my socks on by myself, walk for as long as I want, help my wife around the house, I just feel like I’ve been given a new lease on life. #1 benefit, Quality of life is much better. Being pain free is truly a God send. Not having to take meds, a definite bonus. Keeping my job, my hours are a min. 10 hours and I can last 18 hours if need be. Before treatments I could only stand 1 to 2 hours before my back would start hurting at work. I now can easily go 12 hours. What a relief to get home and not feel like a broken down man. Being Pain free has given me a better outlook on things. Thanks,”

“15 Years Younger!”- Gene S.’ s Story:

“As you grow older, you kind of become used to your body changing and you don’ t really know how bad you are until you get an evaluation and get X-rays, then you say holy cow, I didn’ t know I was that bad! Then I start thinking back…10 years ago and how I felt, and then how I felt before I came to The Ohio Neck & Back Pain Relief Centers and I realize there’ s a great difference there. I didn’ t have the mobility in my neck or my lower back that I used to and after being here for 5, 6, 7 weeks…I just feel like I’ m 15 years younger! I just can’ t believe the difference. I used to have to, when I got up in the morning and I went down the steps, I had to go down the steps backwards because of the pain in my back. But, now I can go up and down the steps like I used to. I feel so much better. My mobility in my neck, I have such great range in my neck now…really I feel great. There’ s no doubt about it. I’ d recommend them to anybody. Age-wise, I think it’ s something you need all your life. I feel great and this was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time.”

“I was a young man when I first visited Dr Gray. I injured my lower back and through many trials and tribulations visiting several different Dr’ s offering multiple treatments I found relief with the Ohio Neck and Back Pain Relief Center. I still have episodes of discomfort and pain on a daily basis but the care, support, and relief I ALWAYS get from the care from my adopted Dr Scott, I am able to live within my means without surgery. I am sincerely greatful for the time, patience, and genuine caring nature I receive from this office. It has meant the world to my personal life as well as allow me the ability to continue working to support my family. A much deserved “Thank You” from a devoted patient!!! I have not only gotten some pain relief but the added conversation and motivation promoted from Dr Scott really rings true. I truly enjoy genuine, no nonsense words of encouragement. I believe in self motivation but having the supportive words coming from an individual outside my home is comforting.

“This is a great place to be if you need help. So many places simply look and treat symptoms and never dig into the real problems that we are having. Dr. Gray is completely the opposite and is well worth your attention if you are looking for someone that will treat you right and that truly wants to help people. Long story short, I was having back and leg pain. Within 5 weeks Dr. Gray had helped me figure out that what I actually had going on was a brain tumor. I was able to get to a neurosurgeon that was blown away that Dr. Gray was able to help us figure that out so quickly. I am currently recovering and am expected to recover better than ever with virtually zero chance of recurrence. I’ m very thankful that Dr. Gray didn’ t just treat my symptoms!”

“They Made Me Walk Again”- Jesse Scroggins’ Story:

“The Ohio Neck & Back Pain Relief Center is super, you can’t beat it! I enjoy coming to see them. They made me walk again without hurting. I’m back in super shape, able to do things I used to do.”

Since we REALLY do like to see you SMILE, my question for you is this: Why would you even consider an alternative when… Clinical studies have shown non-surgical spinal decompression to be successful (good or excellent relief- meaning pain down to a “0” or “1”) in 86 percent of patients with herniated discs and degenerative joint disease – without ANY side effects. [i]

The most amazing thing is: Studies also show a 90 percent reduction
in disc herniations in 71.4 percent of patients. [ii]

Even better, treatment with this non-surgical technology is painless, drugless and there are NO side effects documented at all. In fact, many patients report the treatments are so relaxing… they actually fall asleep! Click for Video.

Spinal Decompression technology has been cleared by The Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The conditions that have shown documented success are:

Back pain

Neck pain

Radiating leg pain

Radiating arm pain

Sciatica

Degenerative disc disease

Relapse or failure following surgery

Facet syndromes

Herniated and/or bulging discs (single or multiple)

A very important note:

Spinal Decompression has been successful with even the most severe cases… even when NOTHING else has worked. Even after failed surgery! Click for Video.

This Isn’t Traction!

Unlike traction, Spinal Decompression utilizes sophisticated sensors that track your muscles’ resistance to the pulling forces. These sensors, with computer enhancement, allow your doctor to very gently tighten, then reduce the tension, all in a very slow, controlled process — so your muscles do not react to the tension. This spinal stretching is a process that takes place over multiple sessions, as needed, to protect vertebrae and discs from injury.

In one study, researchers examined the effects of Spinal Decompression on the nucleus pulposus (inner core) of spinal discs. They connected a very thin tube to each patient’s L4-5 disc space, and attached a device called pressure transducer to measure pressure on the disc. They recorded the pressure between discs when tension was applied and when the patient was in resting state.

The results were exciting – because, when highest levels of tension were applied, the pressure on the nucleus pulposus decreased significantly – to less than 100 mm Hg. This provided proof that the tension in Spinal Decompression does its job! [iii] Click for Video.

MRI studies comparing regular “old” traction to spinal decompression have shown regular traction does NOT return herniated material back into the disc, while spinal decompression DOES return herniated material back into the disc (reducing or eliminating pain). [iv]

Here’s the story of “Joe,” a 69 year-old man who had low back pain for a year. His pain was getting worse and worse, and he needed help. He was desperate! Maybe you can relate.

For Joe, the pain radiated into his buttocks and legs. He had a burning sensation down both legs into the feet – even into his lower abdomen. It was excruciating at times!

His pain was worse whenever he walked or stood for more than 15 minutes – so Joe was in severe pain much of the time. He couldn’t sleep because of the pain. He couldn’t get out of a chair without feeling that awful blasted pain.

Joe was a big guy – over six feet, weighing nearly 200 pounds. He had a history of cervical (neck) spine surgery, diabetes, hypertension, and lumbar surgery 13 years earlier.

Yes, Joe had his share of back pain surgery – with no pain relief! And luckily, there is a solution – a NON-SURGICAL solution – to cure many back pain problems where traditional chiropractic treatments may fall short.

Joe’s key to getting REAL pain relief

Joe had an MRI, which showed herniated discs at several levels on his spine. Man, that was scary! Joe was really afraid of what a doctor might recommend. He sure didn’t want surgery again!

Joe had the good sense to consult with a Spinal Decompression specialist. He liked what he heard – and set up his schedule for 22 treatments over a 7-week period. He also got advice on exercise and nutrition that would help his discs to heal. No surgery would be involved; every session would be in the doctor’s office.

Going into this program, Joe’s initial pain level was “10.” By the end of his Spinal Decompression sessions, he reported a pain level of “1”. He no longer felt the burning sensation in the buttocks or legs. He also noticed less pain in his lower abdomen. Another MRI showed his discs had gained height.

Wow!

Joe, as you can imagine, was a happy man. When you finally get relief from severe pain, life is great again. Everything is better! This can also ring true for you as well! Watch this quick video to learn more about Spinal Decompression, the non-surgical procedure that gave Joe his pain relief. CLICK HERE NOW.
